US-based Dow Chemical has sponsored a customer care center, located in the Vista Ballroom, with an aim to meet its customers in a setting designed to encourage collaboration on 28-31 October at Pack Expo 2012.

The company's performance packaging division recently announced its commitment to establishing strong value chain partners and collaboration within its Film Application Development Center (FADC), according to plasticstoday.com.

Dow North America performance packaging marketing director Dave Kyle said they would like to refer to the partnership as growing a pie.

"When all players of the supply chain are working together, it makes everyone in the packaging space better," Kyle said.

During Pack Expo, Dow introduced a new laminating adhesive, ADCOTE adhesives and coatings, a new series of AGILITY processing accelerators, and two additions to its existing DOWLEX linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) resins portfolio.
